Đặt nồi lên bếp, thêm 1 muỗng canh dầu ăn, cho phần hành tím băm nhỏ còn lại vào phi thơm. Sau đó cho thịt đã ướp vào đảo săn, khi thịt săn lại thêm nước sôi cho ngập mặt thịt, nêm 1 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm, 1 muỗng canh nước mắm, 2 muỗng cà phê đường và kho nhỏ lửa.
