Sounds like it's going to be very hard on the battery. I can't imagine most manufacturers are sticking to like 5-10w because they haven't thought of making it faster.

Well, 4000mAh equals 14.400 Joule while charging at 100W (=100 Joule/second) for 17 Minutes would be equal to 102.000 Joule. In other words, the average charging power is way lower, around 14 Watt.
