Terrific Summer Fun - Especially for the price.
We recently purchased the Step2 WaterWheel Activity Play Table for my 17-month-old toddler and it's one of the best summer purchases we've made so far. At only $39.99 on Amazon this table was a steal given how much fun my son has with it. The table was easy to put together and fits nicely in the corner of our apartment balcony. The height is just right for my son to be comfortable standing next to the table to play with the water. He especially loves using the cup this table comes with to pour water into the reserve for the water wheel, which spins around as the water streams onto it. On the cons side (there are a couple), the sail boats this table comes with are flimsy at best. They fall apart as soon as you pick them up and don't float when they are assembled. The little plastic roads that are supposed to hold the boats together are sharp too, so I removed the boats and replaced them with a Sassy Counting Friends Bath Toy and some Alex bath toys. These are great fun and my son doesn't miss the boats. The only other con isn't so much a con as it is something to note: the water table does not have a drain at the bottom to empty the water. I'm guessing previous models had this feature because many people mention it in Amazon.com reviews. This hasn't been a problem for us though since the table is right next to our herb garden and my son enjoys pouring water into his toddler watering can so he can feed his plants. By the time he's done watering them all it's time to refill the table, so problem solved. Barring this solution, it would be very easy to empty the table with a pitcher or simply up-end it to pour the water out. Final rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Terrific Water Table!
We gave this water table to our 2 1/2 year old grandson when he moved into a new house. He is thrilled with it! It is extremely sturdy. He even climbs into it, when no one is looking. For that reason, it is set up on the grass. We did not want one with a plug in it, because he is a "cause and effect" kind of guy -- pull the plug and watch the water flow out: great fun! (He had made it impossible for him to play with a friend at her water table because of his curiosity.) The fact that the water wheel can be moved around was a plus for us. It's just more fun to have a little variety. The water wheel does not topple over easily. Unfortunately, the boats only float when their sail's are positioned straight back.. But, he doesn't care. Probably at little waterproof glue would solve that problem. The wonderful thing is that this water table occupies him for an hour by himself. A couple of days it has been almost two hours, with the addition of other toys. With a friend it is much longer. Nirvana!

Simple but Fun
I looked at a lot of different water tables before choosing this one. I chose it because of its simplicity. I like that it doesn't have an etched design on the bottom that could get dirty. I like that it doesn't have a lot of cranks and wheels taking up space. This way, my daughter can play with her favorite toys, both now and as she gets older. I also like that the simple design encourages creative play. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend this water table.

This fun activity table can be used with water or sand ...
This is hands down a must-have for toddler and pre-schoolers. This fun activity table can be used with water or sand for fun, imaginative play. It is just the right size for little ones and solid enough to handle tough grips of toddlers! It is simple to put together and is great for outdoor play. It an also be used indoors with a tarp underneath it making it a fun rainy day activity. It is a great value for your money and a solid item that will provide hours and hours of enjoyment for several children! I know that parents can be leery of buying an item that takes up a lot of room but this is one large toy item that really does get months of use.

The best!
We bought and returned the transportation station table. That one looked like a lot of fun, but it had too many pieces. The toys and tracks didn't stay on, the spinners didn't spin, and the kicker was it LEAKED out of the plugs. Yay for Amazon making returns so easy. We got this one instead. I LOVE that this is JUST for water. Yeah you can put just water in a sand/water table but this set up IMO is better. I love how is has a deeper side and a shallower side with a slide in between. My 6 year old son said "Wow, this is so much better!" when we got it set up. No plug so no leaking. Water wheel actually spins. My 2 year old twins had so much fun with this this afternoon. My only complaint is that we didn't get it last summer! Super quick to put together - you don't even need to look at the directions - and loads of fun for the kids. Add a rubber duck and a couple extra cups and you're good to go. Simpler is better in this instance. I have seen some complaints about the plastic being thin and cheap - can't say I have noticed that. It seems perfectly sturdy to me. It's not double walled like some Little Tikes/Step 2 items, but it's not like a Solo party cup, either. Single walled, but quite thick. You will not be disappointed with this table!

Great purchase. Recommend.
This water table to just what I had hoped for. It is tall enough that my really large almost 3 year old boy can stand and play, alongside my small 1.5 year old. The waterwheel is what makes this so cool to them, without it they would not play as much with the table. For my 1.5 year old to be able to scoop water in I have to put the water wheel in the lowest basin or she cannot reach it. Note: Plastic boats are garbage. Literally, throw them away. Just cute for the pic. They "snap" together supposedly but they are so cheap that they dont snap together. I Its pretty sturdy. My toddler crawled in it, which is not what it is for and I made him crawl out, but it is sturdy enough that a 35 lb kid did not break it. Overall, we are very happy with this and it my kids love the "river" that flows when they dump water into the wheel...one pool side is higher than the other and there is a connecting place we call the river.

Makes a great play table/ sensory bin for in home care
This water table is a must have for anyone who shares space with toddlers. NOT just fur water/ outside! Mine is inside, filled with toddler manipulatives. Makes a great play table/ sensory bin for in home care. So affordable.... I'll be ordering one for outside as soon as summer comes! 😊

Great outdoor fun for hours!
Literally hours of play. It's amazing how a child wants to play with this even with the limited number of toys that come with it. We have additional water toys because we live by the beach but my 1 and 3 toddlers love it. When their friends come, ages 1-5, they love it. It was a great investment! And Made in USA!

No Frills Water Table; Love It!
My kid loves to play in the water and we have a small back deck, so I'd been trying for awhile to find a good table for him. So many had random plastic parts or toys or accessories glued onto them, and this was the only one I saw and thought, "that's what I had in mind." It's sturdy, it's easy to clean (if you notice any algae growing on the bottom, just dump it, wipe it down with a wet rag and refill; good as new) it's bigger than it looks, but plenty small to fit on a medium sized porch. Best of all, the kiddo loves it, and the little water wheel is more fun for him than I expected it to be. Great little table. :)

Toddler loves it!
We looked at a ton of different water tables before settling on this one, and we're glad we got it. The price is great and our toddler has a ton of fun with it. The plastic isn't the several inches thick kind that a lot of Step 2 products are made of (which I think it where a lot of other people's quality complaints are coming from) but I don't think it's a problem. It feels surdy enough to last at least several years. I really like that it has two levels and depths, because I can just fill up the top one with just a little bit of water and have her play in it for a few minutes without wasting a ton of it. The top part fills to overflowing when I pour a mixing bowl's worth of water in it. Mt two issues with this are that the toy boats that came with it come in two pieces that you have to snap together and they absolutely won't stay connected, and that the water tower is not connected to the table and topples over sometimes. But, buying different toy boats or using bath toys you already have it an easy fix, and my toddler doesn't really care that the tower falls over. In fact, she thinks it's great fun to knock it down. Over all, I think this is a fantastic product at a great price.
