Perfect for white board writing!
I love all the colors (black, purple, blue, green, and red). This was the perfect pack for a classroom, plenty of markers and these of course are the good quality, nice dark ink for seeing clearly on the board at good distances. I use these all day and they last long, maybe a couple months before I need to restock. The price was good for these, I'm always comparing because the sets of 8 or 10 in the store are too costly. Buy in bulk. The shipping was easy and fast, no problems. Thank you!

excellent for teachers
As a classroom teacher, these markers are one of the most important supplies that I use every day. When they were on sale for only $8 a pack, I bought 2. There is a wide selection of bright colors as well as neutrals. They last a long time and are easy to see on the board. So far I have only gone through 3 markers in the whole school year. At this rate, 2 packs will last me years! Many classroom supplies I like to purchase at Dollar tree to save $$, but not markers. The cheap dollar store markers fade out too quick. It's worth getting these expo markers, especially when on sale. Highly recommended

because I'm pretty tired of the old "orange" sandy beaches and bananas
Expo's are an invaluable tool at my job. Not only do they allow me to write the daily announcements for the students, they also help me illustrate how to solve an algebra problem in such a convoluted way that students are left more confused. Also, we all use them to play pictionary. If you do too, you've probably also realized that Expo needs to come out with more colors. Yellow should be in every pack, because I'm pretty tired of the old "orange" sandy beaches and bananas. Needless to say, they get a lot of use in our class and they last a lot longer than some others we've tried. In terms of opacity, they are on par with Board Dudes but last longer. Neither though are remotely close to being as saturated in color as Colormate. However, Colormate does not wipe off easily like the other two. Also, Colormate dries out quicker. All three have pretty standard, decent chisel tips.

The Best Dry Erase Markers
Expo dry erase markers are the industry standard, really. You can find them in any school, university, or sales meeting room in the country. They work well and last a good amount of time. The ink flows smoothly and the felt tips hold up reasonably well. I bought this pack because of the extra colors. I get tired of the same old red, blue, green, and black that are usually available, so the light blue, light green, purple, etc, are a welcome change of pace. Also, getting an extra marker of the main colors is a nice bonus. One of these packs usually will get me through the school year. However, if you have students who like to draw on a board, you may want to look into a sturdier set of markers. These will not hold up to heavy pressure very well. Aside from that caveat, you can buy with confidence. The ones offered here are the real deal and the price is right.

Highly Recommend for Teachers
The best pack at the best price. I teach high school history. Im also super particular about school supplies. This is the best pack of markers from the best brand at the best price. (Yes, teachers really do buy all their own damn office supplies.) The best pack because there are no annoying yellow or super pale colors that could only be used as accents. All are vibrant colors that are visible from a distance. I also prefer the chisel tip because it is easier on most people's handwriting on a vertical surface. (Kind of silly, but if you can't stand an ugly bulletin board, noteworthy.) Expo is also the best brand. They don't stink. They don't dry up super quickly or get straw-like or cracked (pro tip: always store vertically with cap side down! Makes a huge difference!). This brand also doesn't leave annoying marks on a white board after erasing, requiring you to spray to clean the board. (Another pro tip-- use rubbing alcohol instead of expensive white board cleaner. It works better and is so much cheaper.) This is also the cheapest Ive seen for this size pack of expos, even during back to school sales when I usually stock up. Im super frugal, but these pens are one of those things where its worth it to get name brand.

Colorful!
A wonderful assortment of colors. Two black, two red, two dark blue, two dark green, and eight variety colors. I have a large dry erase easel at home, for homeschooling, and these colors make it possible to do graphs and charts, and add some dimension to otherwise dull projects. For fun, my family and I use them to play games like Pictionary and Win, Lose, or Draw. In addition, the low-odor is nice because sometimes strong odors trigger migraine. Haven't had an issue, as I can barely even smell them.

great markers, buy time and time again
My husband is a teacher and this is our second (or third?) time buying this same pack of markers. We love the color variety! The markers inevitably disappear from hubby's classrom over time and need replacing, but otherwise, last a good long time, have vibrant color, and erase thoroughly. Definitely a gold standard of dry erase markers. It's probably a good thing they get lost/stolen, or we'd never buy more because they last ages, and Expo would go out of business. ;) (This product was a personal purchase for myself at a publicly-available retail/list price. I am reviewing it solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. I have received no compensation for my review nor do I have any relationship with the seller or manufacturer of this product.)

Great Colors for a Great Price
I like used dry erase markers for a lot of different things and some tend to be plain in color and not work well. Expo markers have never disappointed me though and with the variety of colors I can color coordinate things. My only angst is the price as I wish it was lower; however, who doesn't want something at a cheaper price right? All-in-all, totally worth the purchase. **PRO TIP! - lay the markers flat when you store them and if not then tip side down to increase their longevity. They will last a lot longer this way because they do not evaporate as fast!**

Perfect Whiteboard Pens, AND Great for Removing Sharpie.
Can't say more than that. These pens are excellent. Getting the low-odor ones are WELL worth it, as the regular ones have such an obnoxiously strong smell that they honestly make me feel nauseous after using for a while. These, however, have very little to no smell, and the color depth is excellent. They have a good amount of ink in them, so that they shouldn't dry out too quickly (as long as you don't forget to re-cap them). They remove Sharpie AMAZINGLY (which is actually the reason in and of itself I bought these!) I wasn't sure at first if the low-odor variety would do as good of a job, but these worked flawlessly, and didn't smear the ink in any way.

BEST whiteboard markers EVER
I seriously love these markers. I teach junior high math, and go through multiple sets throughout the year. As students share their work on the board, they love to pick a color to show what they are doing. There are also certain things I put on the board, and having it color coded helps them immensely. Being able to differentiate between ideas, thoughts, people, etc. is so much easier with colors. My own children (ages 8, 6, and 2) love that they can draw pictures on my boards when they come help me lesson plan. Although I do go through multiple sets per year, these markers last well. Some colors are easier to see writing with--dark blue, dark green, purple dark brown, and black can be seen well from the back of the room. Pink and light green are great for color-coding but not for writing. The other colors are great for some writing and explaining, but not lots of printing things that must be copied. The students' favorites tend to be orange, and magenta, since those colors can't be found in any other classrooms (sometimes, kids even steal/borrow these colors because they want to use them on their locker white boards... they really, really, really like them!) If I leave the color on my board for a long time (2 or more weeks), or my classroom gets really cold (under 60), I have a hard time erasing, but write over it with a fresh coat of marker, and it comes off. These erase best with expo erasers, and occasionally I clean my board (like every 2 months) with expo cleaner. Other than that, there's not much need to clean it, as these markers erase cleanly, and don't leave a huge mess. I would recommend this pack for anyone with a white board who likes color.
